ACMC Healthcare System is Hiring a Physician Recruiter Near Ashtabula, OH

GENERAL SUMMARY

Provides recruiting of highly qualified candidates and participates in the daily activities associated with the sourcing of staff physicians. Creates, develops and implements highly effective recruitment strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers.
  • Arranges for placement of notices that specify current staff physician needs.
  • Arranges and participates in candidate site visits; coordinates site visits and directs establishment of appropriate itineraries.
  • Interacts with various leaders and departments of ACMC to ensure adequate compatibility of interview schedules.
  • Follow-up with candidates after their site visits to determine their continued level of interest.
  • Manages relationships with recruiting agencies and tracks related locum tenens expenses.
  • Manages database of staff physician contacts.
  • Maintains recruitment logs.
  • Coordinates or assists in planning job fairs, open houses and other special events.
  • Maintains CV in database file.
  • Develops contacts with various companies capable of providing target mailing lists.
  • Attends meetings with the Vice President and Director as necessary.
  • Participates in various activities involving the entire spectrum of the recruitment cycle.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required.

Certifications:

Valid Driver’s License required (VDL)

Complexity of Work:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to interact with physicians and others with high levels of education.
  • Ability to establish rapport with potential staff physician candidates and ascertain whether they possess the skills needed.
  • High degree of computer literacy and the ability to acquire additional skills in this area.

Work Experience:

One year of relevant experience required in human resources and /or recruitment.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent sitting, standing or walking required.

Travel to off-site recruitment events may be required or other trips as needed to meet with clients or to attend meetings.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
